Management and Ownership
Candi, along with her husband, Richard Pearce fulfilled their dream of opening a state-of-the-art boarding, training and grooming pet facility when they opened Barkingham Palace in November of 2001.
Candi Pearce has over 3 decades of experience in animal care as a trainer of dogs, cats, birds, and horses.
She is a dog obedience trainer certified by the Animal Behavior Associates for Obedience Training.
She has competed in sanctioned trials for dog obedience, winning many blue ribbons.

We Love the Space Coast
It was easy to choose to build in Brevard County–our hometown. We were lucky to have seen many shuttle launches, including this one in April 2002 when Atlantis blasted off.
Our Expansion
On May 1st, 2009 we officially opened our boarding expansion, which added 7 luxury suites and 20 enclosure suites. This increased our boarding capacity by 40% so that we could accommodate the increased demand. We added two murals (The Pond, shown here, and The Shore) on the walls opposite the new suites. These murals were painted for us by Al Rao, famous for decorating local schools and several walls in Cocoa Village.
