Live from Barkingham – Wagging Tails and Pet Parent Stories

At Barkingham Palace, the joy is real, and the tails never stop wagging. Our clients—both furry and human—leave with hearts full and paws pampered. In this blog, we’re sharing the charming experiences of our pet parents and spotlighting the stories that make Barkingham feel like home.

We believe every pet deserves the royal treatment, and every pet parent deserves peace of mind. These stories showcase not only the services we offer, but the trust we build. Whether it’s a first grooming session, a playful daycare day, or a long boarding stay, memories are always made at the Palace.

A First Grooming Story

Bailey, a golden doodle with a fluffy heart, came in for her first full groom. Nervous at first, she left with bows in her hair and a bounce in her step. Her mom said she’d “never seen her look so proud.” Our groomers take time to earn trust and deliver sparkle, inside and out.

We specialize in turning nervous pups into showstoppers, offering a calm, caring grooming experience that wins tails—and hearts.

Daycare Friends Forever

Max and Luna met at daycare and have been inseparable since. Their parents say, “They race to the car when they hear ‘Barkingham!’” Our structured socialization program means dogs make friends that match their play style—and parents get the joy of knowing their dog is safe and socialized.

At Barkingham, daycare means enrichment, friendship, and supervised fun. It’s more than play—it’s healthy, heartwarming social time.

A Royal Staycation

Oliver, a senior schnauzer, boarded in our Queen Suite while his humans vacationed. They were nervous—he wasn’t. With comfy bedding, potty routines, and gentle playtime, he settled in like royalty. His family got daily updates and returned to find him happy, clean, and rested.

Our boarding is designed for peace of mind—yours and theirs. From luxurious suites to hands-on care, every detail says “you’re safe here.”
